So there’s this new internet trend that has been spreading around apparently that I haven’t heard about. And it’s called “Trayvoning.” If you don’t know who Trayvon Martin is, then read this.
My issue isn’t even the fact that they’re “white” or “black” or any other race for that matter. It’s the thought that mocking someone(a kid) who was shot and killed would be funny. Trayvoning is when you wear a hoodie, have skittles and Arizona, and lie on the ground pretending you’re dead. Well you’ve got the props down so why don’t you just get shot and die to make it the whole package. It’s disgusting how disrespectful these people are, let alone mocking someone who was killed for suspicion that they were going to do something bad based on their race.
What makes it even worse is that the ones doing this are teenagers. Not only are they fucking dumb and will definitely look back on this and absolutely regret it, but props to their parents too for raising such a smart kid! When people are talking about things like gender and race they’re always like: Oh this is the 21st century everyone’s tolerable of different stuff blah blah blargh. Um, apparently NOT. This isn’t a joke, nothing like this is ever a joke. Jokes are funny, this isn’t funny. ITS STUPID.
I mean, can you die, and then can we see how your parents and family and friends react to that? Unless you don’t have friends, of course, and your family hates you because you’re an immature douchebag WHO LIKES MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE WHO’VE DIED.
The case is still ongoing and I honestly can’t say how I feel about what actually happened, but mocking a dead individual? Really, people?
I wanted to post an image but I don’t want that shit mixed with my beautiful posts so fuck that.
